The Sonoma floor lamp is built around its shade. Handcrafted from bleached abaca rope in a scalloped bell shape, it is a woven natural material rather than a moulded or fabric one, which gives the light a textured, broken quality as it passes through rather than a flat diffusion. A slender metal frame supports it.

At 64 inches it stands as a full-height floor light, and the 22-inch shade diameter suits a corner or a position beside seating. It weighs 24.2 lb. The on/off switch sits on the socket, and it takes a single medium E26 base G25 bulb up to 15W on 120V. The G25 is the round globe shape, not a standard A19, and it is visible through the open weave of the shade. UL and cUL listed, dry rated for indoor use, with a 1 year limited manufacturer warranty.
