Wet rated means the fixture is approved for direct exposure rather than sheltered positions only — an open soffit, an uncovered entryway, a patio ceiling with nothing above it. The black aluminium housing and clear glass shade are sealed for outdoor use, and the same unit installs indoors without modification.

Optics are rated at 36 degrees, producing a defined beam rather than a wide wash.

At 8W this is the lowest-output fixture in the Nordic range, delivering 458 lumens from 680 total at 3000K and 90 CRI. Plan on several units along a soffit run rather than one covering a wide span.
